Enhypen

Enhypen is a South Korean boy group formed by BELIFT LAB. There are seven members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and NIki. The group was formed through a survival competition show called I-Land.

The group debuted on november 30th 2020 with an EP (Border: Day one) with the title track "given taken".

The name Enhypen meaning comes from the hyphen symbol(-) which represents connection,growth and Discovery. Similar to how hyphen connects different words to make a new meaning. So Enhypen aims to come together and to connect and discover growth together.

Their fandom name is Engene which has two meanings. Their fans are engines that help them to grow and keep on going and the second meaning is that the fans are the Enhypen gene as they share the same DNA to connect.

Enhypens concept from the start has been that they are vampires from their concept trailer and mv and they have a Webtoon called "Dark moon" which shows in depth about their entire lore.
